I’m Danielle. I’m a lawyer, called to the Bar of Ireland in 2020. My primary degree is a BA International from UCD. Upon successful election, I served as Education Officer UCD Student Union – representing the view of 33,000 students on a local, national and international level. Following this, I successfully completed a Masters of Common Law at UCD Sutherland School of Law.
I have five years of professional experience working in public interest and human rights law. Furthermore, I have over five years of professional experience leading fundraising and communications for a busy not-for-profit. I am super passionate about sustainability, particularly the economic and social pillars.
Through Legal Diaries Instagram account I discovered that there were a huge number of amazing small Irish businesses, designers, creatives, and fellow entrepreneurs who had fantastic business models but had no access to the legal ins and outs that are imperative to running a fully legitimate and successful business. This teamed with my passion for sustainability is what inspired me to share what I have learned with small businesses, entrepreneurs, creatives, and SMEs across Ireland. We started Legal Diaries as a way to make all the boring, scary, overwhelming legal and communications stuff both affordable and successful for Irish businesses. We are your one-stop-shop for everything you need for your business!
Hi, I’m Aisling. I qualified as a Barrister in September 2020. I started out as a wannabe architect, my undergrad being in architecture, however, in the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis, the trainee work I needed was not available. At that time, I realized that architecture wasn’t for me, I spent a year converting to law. Then completed an LLM in Corporate Governance in 2013. The aftermath of the financial crisis had a profound influence on my studies. The basic fact that poorly run companies were able to have such a huge effect on the global economy and devastate a generation had me on my soapbox.
I am a qualified company secretary, working in corporate governance for 7years, primarily with aircraft leasing and securitization companies.
I love the vibrancy and attitude of small companies and brave entrepreneurs. I am truly passionate about bringing the highest standards of legal governance services to SMEs in a useful and common-sense way. Legal diaries aim to be the forum to do this, we would be only delighted to help you.
